Policies

The client hereto agrees as follows:
Liability Policy:
 Love Unleashed and employees agree to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Love Unleashed or its employees and/or independent contractors, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of Love Unleashed.
 Love Unleashed cannot be held responsible for pets that cause damage to furniture, carpet, flooring/woodwork, walls, etc. while walker/petsitter is not present.
 Love Unleashed cannot be responsible for pets that bite, suffer an accidental death or escape from faulty fencing or from inside the home due to faulty screens, doors, etc.
 Love Unleashed cannot be responsible for any complications pet may suffer or actions of pet while they are unattended.
 Love Unleashed or its employees/contractors shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any dog that the client has let outside or has instructed the walker to allow outside while walker is not present. This includes pets with doggie doors and outdoor pets.
 The client understands that all pets must have a veterinarian and must be up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. Client agrees to reimburse Love Unleashed for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care and lost wages) associated with contracting any ailments while exposed to dog(s)/cat(s).
 Love Unleashed does not accept aggressive pets. Client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, attorney fees, etc) if client's pet should bite/injure/harm another person or animal.
 All dogs being walked by Love Unleashed must be walked on a leash.
 Love Unleashed does not diagnose, prognose, or make therapy decisions, nor does it offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.
 Love Unleashed will not be responsible for any keys the client has asked to be mailed.
 Client is responsible for making arrangements for snow removal. Visits may not be made in snow covered driveways and/or walkways because of safety concerns. Please keep your sidewalks and driveways shoveled to allow appropriate access in a safe manner.

Business Hours: Business and visiting hours fall between the hours of 10 a.m. - 4 p.m for dog walks and 7:00 a.m. -9:00 a.m for morning petsits, 7:00p.m.– 9:00 p.m. for evening petsits and 7:30pm - 7:30am for overnight stays. Catsitting and critter sitting is scheduled between the hours of 8a.m. - 8p.m. unless a specific timeframe request has been made.

Cancellation Policy:

Dog walking cancellations must be received within 12 hours of scheduled visit in order to be credited for the daily walk fee.

Petsitting/catsitting cancellations can be made no later than three days before departure. Early returns will still be billed for the amount of service arranged/reserved.


Please notify us when/if you are no longer in need of our services (moving, pet passes away etc). Total termination or reduction of service requires two weeks notice. If two weeks notice is not given Love Unleashed will assess an early termination fee equal to two weeks of service or $200 whichever is greater.

Love Unleashed reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

Emergencies:

Client agrees to authorize Love Unleashed to handle any emergencies that may arise. Love Unleashed will make every effort to contact client. In the event client cannot be contacted, client authorizes Love Unleashed to use their best judgment to manage the emergency (home, personal or pet related) until client is contacted.

Reimbursement for emergency medical care is required. Should your pet need emergency care all expenses shall be reimbursed should Love Unleashed incur this expense initially. Love Unleashed may take your pet to your chosen veterinarian or an emergency veterinarian whichever is closest and available in the case that you are unreachable. Reimbursement to Love Unleashed is due within one week (7 days).

Love Unleashed requires you to have a responsible party to take care of your pet(s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Please provide Love Unleashed with a third party contact (someone who you would trust to make life or death decisions for your pet).
